Introduction To Mr Kay
Mr Kay is a client we interviewed following a large Victorian extension we carried out off Chorley New Road, Bolton. With a baby on the way, he reached out to JA Renovations to complete a large extension that another builder had ultimately let down on him.
Client Background and Needs
Mr Kay, the owner of First Impressions Cleaning, and his wife were expecting a new addition to the family, so they set out to extend their house in anticipation of the baby’s imminent arrival. He and his wife had moved in with the mother-in-law whilst the work was taking place and planned to move back in as soon as the job was completed.
Mr Kay planned an extension above the garage, around the side of the house, and at the rear of his Victorian-style property. Unfortunately, another builder had let him down by starting the work but not completing it.

This extension would consist of an extension above the garage, which would continue down the side of the property, and finally, an extension at the rear of the house.

This extension would consist of an extension above the garage, which would continue down the side of the property, and finally, an extension at the rear of the housing.
The final result was a beautiful home extension that integrated a seamless third floor. The house retained its Jones Homes look, theme and style. Yet it managed to maintain a unique look and feel simultaneously.
